Three time Masaza Cup winners Mawokota have announced Brian Ssenyondo as their new head coach.
Ssenyondo who is also the head coach at Kitara FC replaces Steven Bogere who was sacked by Mawokota team management following a poor string of results.
“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Coach Brian Ssenyondo as our new Head Coach.”
“With his wealth of experience and proven track record, Coach Ssenyondo is expected to bring a fresh perspective and new energy to the team. His leadership and tactical expertise will undoubtedly enhance the team’s performance and drive success on the pitch,” Read a statement from Mawokota
The 2024 Stanbic Uganda Cup winning coach will work with Hakim Ssenkumba and Richard Kansole his assistants.
Meanwhile, Mawokota returned to winning ways with a 1-0 home win over Buvuma in the Masengere Group game at Buwama on Sunday.
