BUL FC have not registered any league victories since the appointment of Simeone Masaba as head coach.

In fact, they have not celebrated a win since the turn of the second round of the league.

They host a Soltilo Bright Stars side that has enjoyed beating them every time they cross paths.

The two sides have faced off 20 times since 2013 when BUL were elavated to the topflight but 10 of them have gone Bright Stars’ way.

The hosts have only managed 4 wins and the rest ended in stalemate.

In the first round meeting at Kavumba, Soltilo Bright Stars earned a spotless 2-0 victory thanks to a Nelson Senkatuka brace.

Despite their impressive form in the Stanbic Uganda cup where they have reached the semi finals, Bright Stars have contrasting performances in the league.

They are only 5 points ahead of relegation threatened Busoga United who are sitting 12th with 23 points.

BUL still have hopes of improving on their position as victory would push them above URA who are currently occupying 4th place on 34 points.

TEAM NEWS:

Defender Richard Ayiko and South Sudan international midfielder Ivan Waninhave been ruled out of the tie through injury for BUL FC.

Soltilo Bright Stars have not reported any injuries and hope striker Nelson Senkatuka will carry his scoring boots to Njeru.
