Uganda’s Women’s national team The Crested Cranes will play against DR Congo in two international friendly games next week.

This will be the team’s first engagement since December last year when Uganda faced Morocco in Rabat and Casablanca.

The two games will be played at the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa.

The first game will be played on Sunday 27th October while the second game will be played on Wednesday 30th.

Uganda’s coach Sheryl Botes Ulanda is expected to name the Crested Cranes squad tomorrow at the FUFA Complex in Mengo.

This will be the first time Uganda will be facing DR Congo since 2012 when both sides met in the 2012 Women’s AFCON Qualifiers.

DR Congo eliminated Uganda with a 5-1 aggregate after a 1-1 and 4-0 result in the first and second leg respectively.
