Kitara FC will automatically gain promotion back to the Uganda Premier League if they win against Adjumani Town Council at Paridi Stadium in West Nile.
The Sam Simbwa coached side currently leads the Big League table with 55 points and will go to 59 points in case of victory to seal a place in next season’s Uganda Premier League.
Kitara come into the encounter after securing a comprehensive 5-1 win over Soroti City in Hoima thanks to a Paul Mucureezi brace and goals from George Senkaaba, Edson Agondeze and Paddy Muhumuza.
Their opponents Adjumani TC lost 5-0 to Mbarara City in Kakyeka and subsequently got relegated with two games to play.
Coming into this encounter, Kitara will be without defender Samuel Adibo who is nursing a shoulder injury.
