The Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) President Moses Muhangi has been arrested.
The development comes a day after the Uganda Netball Federation President Sarah Babirye Kityo was remanded to Luzira.
On Monday, PAC (Central Gov’t) chaired by Hon. Asuman Basalirwa handed the UBF boss Muhangi and the former accountant at the Federation Lydia Namuleme to Police CID for further management on allegations of forgery, uttering false documents and misappropriation.
Muhangi and Namuleme were appearing before the Committee to answer to queries raised by the Auditor General.
It is said that Muhangi went to the CID after an urgent call only to find other charges preferred against him which remain unknown up to now.
