Busiro’s new-look backroom staff under Kirya revealed

The management team of Busiro Ssaza team has confirmed Ibrahim Kirya as their new head coach ahead of the 2023 Masaza Cup tournament.

Last year, Kirya guided Buddu to the Final before losing to Busiro at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

He replaces Simon Peter Mugerwa who crossed to Kirya’s former home Buddu.

At his new home, he will be assisted by Godfrey Wasswa, Michael Kabali and the goalkeeping coach is Hussein Saddam.

Wasswa serves as Maroons FC assistant coach and has previously won the Masaza Cup competition four times as a player and coach.

Kabali was the head coach at Mawogola Ssaza team last year and is also the head coach at Rays of Grace Academy while Hussein was part of Busiro’s backroom staff last campaign.

Busiro are the defending champions are in Muganzirwa group alongside record winners Gomba, three time champions Mawokota, Ssese, Mawogola and Kabula
