Wakiso Giants’ Sula Kamoga lands vital role on Uganda Boxing Federation Executive

The Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) has appointed Kamoga Sula as the Vice President in charge of Administration.

Kamoga takes over the role that has been vacant since 2018, when UBF boss Moses Muhangi banned Fred Kawuma who previously served in the position.

Muhangi through the Annual General meeting banned Kavuma for 12 years due indiscipline.

The position has been vacant for the last five years but now will be taken up by Kamoga.

Meanwhile, the Bombers head coach Patrick Lihanda has been appointed as the UBF vice president in charge of technical.

Lihanda competed at two Olympic events in 1994 and 1998.

Kamoga also serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants.

Kamoga is also the Chief Executive Officer of Top Boy Promotions, a company that has played a vital role in organizing Boxing events most notably the Champions league.

Kamoga served as Kireka United Secretary and before he was elevated to the role of CEO guiding the side to the FUFA Big League. In 2018, he joined Wakiso Giants as CEO.
