The Uganda Boxing Federation and it’s partners have unveiled the title belts that will be rewarded to winners of the second season of the Boxing Champions league.
The second season of the Uganda Boxing Champions League will climax on 26th December at UMA Show grounds in Lugogo.
Over 32 bouts in various weight categories are to be held on the grand finale.
Uganda Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi revealed that they will reward the title belt to the deserved winners.

“The belts will be rewarded to the deserved winners, every boxer has been given a chance to fight. For a boxer to win this belt, he or she should have had to fight several fights and against the best opponents in the country.”
“So there no excuses for the boxers. In case of a tie, we shall consider how the previous fight between the two boxers ended and the other option will be about the judges to decide who is a better a boxer.” Said Muhangi before adding,
“Season two of the champions league has been much better than the first season because, we have fan bases unlike in the previous season. Boxers have also improved on themselves not only in the ring but also in branding themselves and they can now conduct TV interviews without any fears.” He added.

On the grande finale, Muzamir Ssemuddu will face off with Broline Kimbugwe in the Light Middleweight fight while Ukasha Matovu and Owen Kibira will contest in the welterweight. National team captain-Joshua Tukamuhebwa will take on Paul Raskara in the Light welterweight division.
