URA FC have confirmed the departure of their long-serving player Ronald Kigongo following the end of his employment contract.
Kigongo’s contract will officially expire at the end of this month and there are no intentions of an extension.
The roving right back who previously played as a winger, has been at the club since the 2015/16 season following his move from Maroons FC.
Said Kyeyune currently stands out as the longest serving player in the current URA FC squad.
URA FC will be embarking on preparations for the next season with a number of signings and departures of some of the current squad players.
The club finished the recently concluded season on a high, in the 5th place following a couple of unconvincing results in the first round.
