KCCA FC are likely to lose close to six key players this transfer window due to contract expiration.
The Lugogo based side look set for an extremely busy transfer of outgoings.
Club captain Benjamin Ochan, defender Geoffrey Wasswa, John Revita, Brian Majwega, Mustafa Kizza are all out of contract by the end of this month.
Allan Okello has already confirmed his departure after expiration of his loan deal from Paradou.
According to sources the club is currently in negotiations to renew Ochan’s contract.
He returned to KCCA FC at the start of the 2021/22 season on a two year contract for a third spell after expedition in Zambia and Kenya with Kabwe Warriors and AFC Leopards respectively.
Defender Geoffrey Wasswa will also have his contract expire this month. This website understands that the club is open to renew his stay.
Wasswa who previously featured at Vipers SC and SC Villa is also believed to be eyeing a move abroad.
Mustafa Kizza is also another player who is set to depart. He returned to KCCA in January this month this year on a six month contract which expires at the end of June.
He rejoined the Kasasiro boys on a free transfer after his contract at Portuguese side FC Arouca was terminated in December last year.
The Lugogo based side is however not ready to renew employment contracts for Revita who joined the club in 2019 and Brian Majwega.
Following another disappointed season, much of the attention at KCCA FC will be already on next season.
