Uganda Cranes offensive midfielder Allan Kateregga “Dancing Rasta” is a transfer target of Congolese giants TP Mazembe.

Kateregga features for another Congolese side St. Eloi Lupopo but his contract will be expiring at the end of this month.

TP Mazembe have identified Kateregga as one of the players that want to sign in a bid to bounce back following a disappointing season.

Reports indicate, newly crowned CAF Confederation Cup winners USM Alger as well as South African side Marumo Gallants are also interested in signing the dreadlocked midfielder.

Kateregga caught the eye of USM Alger and Marumo Gallants when St. Eloi Lupopo faced the two sides in Group A of this season’s CAF Confederation Cup.

He is a former player at Cape Town City and Maritzburg United in South Africa, Erbil SC in Iraq and Kenyan side AFC Leopards.

On the local scene, Kateregga featured for the now defunct SC Victoria University, BUL FC and KCCA FC.

He has eight caps on the national team The Cranes, and was part of the squad that represented Uganda in the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
