The Uganda Cranes have continued to slip in the latest FIFA Rankings released on Thursday, 29th June.
Uganda is currently ranked 92nd in the World which sees a slip of three places from the previous rankings.
In the previous rankings that were released on April 6th 2023, the Cranes were ranked 89th in the world.
The decline is due to Cranes’ recent performances, a 2-1 defeat to Algeria in AFCON qualifying game in Cameroon this month.
The Cranes also lost 1-0 to Democratic Republic of Congo in the International Friendly before their defeat to Algeria.
Tanzania climb seven places from 130 to 123rd following their victory over Niger.
Niger are Uganda’s next opponents in the AFCON 2023 qualifier slip to 128th.
Meanwhile, World Cup semifinalists Morocco are the top ranked African nation followed by African Champions Senegal.
World Champions Argentina remain the top ranked nation in the world followed by France and five time world Champions Brazil.
