Vipers summon coach Isabirye to the disciplinary Committee

Double Champions Vipers SC have summoned their head coach Alex Isabirye Musongola to the disciplinary Committee for disappearing from his role.

In letter from the club CEO Simon Peter Njuba, the tactician has not reported for his duties since 5th July, 2023.

The club has summoned Isabirye to appear before the disciplinary Committee on Thursday at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

“That where as you are by contract dated 9/03/2023 employed as the head coach of Vipers SC on such terms and conditions contained in the same and subject to the employment act laws of Uganda.”

“You have consistently and without authority from your employer, absconded from your work and duties as head coach since 5th/07/2023.”

“That despite a formal request from your immediate supervisor dated 07/07/2023, you have still failed to report for work which actions have negatively impacted the Team’s preparations and trainings.”

“So be hereby informed that in line with the applicable labour laws, you are invited for a disciplinary hearing on Thursday 14th July 2023 at St. Mary’s Stadium – Kitende Executive Lounge, 10:00AM
Please endeavor to keep time and appear in person.” Read the letter

Last week, this website reported that Isabirye was set to resign from his as Vipers’ head coach and was to forward his resignation letter to the club hierarchy.

Isabirye guided Vipers to a Cup double last season (Uganda Premier league and Stanbic Uganda Cup).
