Seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC have confirmed Ashraf Miiro as the new club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as earlier reported by this website.
Miiro replaces Isaac Mwesigwa who recently left the club and joined SC Villa.

Miiro is a former UPDF FC CEO who served the army side from 2018 during the club’s days in the FUFA Big League until this year in January.
He left UPDF in the middle of last season and was subsequently replaced by Maj. Juma Maliyamungu.
He is a former FUFA referee and referees assessor who was active between 2006 until recently in 2018.
Miiro’s immediate work is to put the Express FC house in order ahead of the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season.
Ram Hadji, Hamza Jjunju, Ivan Kintu (Acting), Muzafaru Ssebagala and Isaac Mwesigwa are the most recent CEOs who have been at Wankulukuku in the past eight years.
