Newly Promoted Uganda Premier league side Kitara FC have officially unveiled striker Jude Semugabi as their latest signing.
Last month this website reported that Semugabi had reached an agreement with Kitara FC after expiration of his contract at Mbarara City.
He joins Brian Ssenyondo coached side on a one year deal.
The two will reunite at Kitara having previously worked together at Mbarara City.
Semugabi is remembered for playing an instrumental for Ssingo during their 2018 Airtel Masaza Cup triumph where he emerged as the top scorer with 8 goals.
The forward has also previously featured for Kiboga Young and played a vital role in the side’s rise from the third tier to the FUFA Big league during the 2017/18 season, scoring 17 times in regular season and 3 goals in the playoffs.
He becomes Kitara’s fifth signing of the ongoing transfer window after Chrispus Kusiima, Frank Tumwesigye alias Zaga, Ibrahim Magandazi and Kipper Luwalo.
