Ffumbe inches closer to quarter finals with comprehensive win over Musu

Ffumbe clan registered a massive 4-1 group D victory in the early kick off at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.

Solomon Walusimbi bagged a hat trick while Anwar Ntege scored the fourth.

Ashiraf Zizinga netted Musu’s consolation.

In the other game of group D, Ngonge and Ngabi Nsamba played to a one all draw.

Alex Kitata and Ronald Ssekiganda scored for Ngabi Nsamba and Ngonge respectively.

Ffumbe maintain leadership of group D with eight points, Ngonge and Ngabi Nsamba are tied on six points while Musu is bottom placed with pp ⁷five points.

Omutima Omusagi defeated Kinyomo 1-0 courtesy of Shakib Mayanja’s goal while Mbogo and Omutima Omusagi played to a one all draw.

Lugave lost 3-2 to Nsenene in a five goal thriller, George Masembe was on target twice for Nsenene and Robert Sewanyana scored the third for Nsenene.

Lugave’s goals came through Aslam Ssemakula and Brian Nkuubi.

Ngo managed to a 2-0 victory against Nvuma thanks to Steven Sebuufu and Joseph Ssemujju the goal scorers.

Kkobe was also another side that registered a 4-1 against Nte, Allan Kayiwa and Samuel Ssekamatte Kayongo were on target twice each for Kkobe

Nte’s only goal in the game was scored by Joshua Neymar.

Omutima Omuyanja, Ngeye and Omutima Omusagi are the only teams that have qualified for the quarter finals.
