Former Vipers left back Dissan Galiwango has joined Tanzania’s Kagera Sugar FC on a two year contract, Swift Sports reliably confirms.

Galiwango was set to re-join his former club Express FC this week after a series of positive negotiations but has opted for greener pastures in the Tanzania Premier League.

He has been a free agent after leaving Vipers SC last month after spending three seasons at Kitende.

His new side, Kagera Sugar is also home to Ugandan trio of Diego Hamis Kiiza, Deus Bukenya and Jackson Kibirige.

Galiwango’s immediate task will be inspiring Kagera Sugar to a respectable finish in the coming season.

The Bukoba based club finished 11th on the Tanzania Premier League table last season with 35 points, three above the relegation playoff places.
