Arua Hill SC have confirmed the signing of John Rogers Okumu on a two year contract.
Okumu has been acquired as a free agent after his employment contract with Onduparaka came to an end.
The versatile defender scored three goals for the Caterpillars in their unsuccessful fight for survival last season.
He is a former national U-17 player but he was not part of the final Cubs squad that represented Uganda in the 2019 AFCON tournament in Tanzania.
Okumu is a versatile defender who can ably play on either flank of defense as well as the central defense.
He is the first of the many signings at Arua Hill who are expected to embark on a massive recruitment following departures of a number of players from the club.
The Livingstone Mbabazi coached team will face URA FC in the FUFA Super 8 tournament on Tuesday 8th August in Lugazi.
