Vipers SC beat Tanzania side Kagera Sugar FC 2-1 in a Pre-season friendly at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
The game was played on Wednesday behind closed doors.
Vipers goals were scored by winger Abdu Lumala and Brazilian forwad Giancarlo Lopes.
Former Vipers SC striker Diego Hamis Kizza scored the visitors’ consolation from the spot in the 79th minute.
Lumala scored gave the Kitende based side the lead in the 22nd minute before Giancarlo doubled their advantage in the 67th minute.
The Venoms are preparing for the forthcoming FUFA Super 8 Pre-season tournament, CAF Champions Preliminary round and the Uganda Premier league season.
They will next face BUL FC on Monday, 7th August in the FUFA Super 8 before their CAF preliminary round against Jwaneng Galaxy.
