Proline FC midfielder Gift Abubakar Ali has joined Tanzania Premier league side Coastal Union FC.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that the experienced midfielder has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Tanzanian outfit.
Gift Ali was instrumental for Proline FC as they clinched the Kampala Region League title before losing the promotion playoff final to the Big League against Ntungasaze FC.
At Coastal Union FC, Gift Ali will join youngster Anguti Louis Amagu who also completed a move to the same club this transfer window.
Besides featuring for Proline FC, Gift Ali has also previously played for Police FC and KCCA FC.
His new side is based in Tanga and Tanga and were fourth placed last season on the Tanzania Premier league table with 43 points.
Coastal Union will represent Tanzania in this year’s CECAFA Kagame Cup due to kickoff this week and are in Group A that consists of JKU of Zanzibar, Dekeheda of Somalia and Sudan’s Al Wadi.
