Kenyan giants Tusker have officially unveiled former Express FC midfielder John Toki Byamukama.
As earlier reported by this website a week ago, Byamukama signed a two year deal with Tusker FC after his departure from Tusker FC.
Byamukama has been unveiled alongside four others who include James Kibande (from Kenya Police) and Fabian Adikiny from Muranga’a Seal.
Joseph Mwangi has been signed from Nzoia Sugar while Edwin Simiyu has been promoted from the Youth team.
Byamukama’s versatility earned him a place in Robert Matano’s coached squad since he can play across the midfield.
He previously played that role for Express FC and Tooro United in the Uganda Premier League and Bumate United in the Big League.
He won the 2021 league title and the CECAFA Club Championship with Express FC.
Tusker is also home to Ugandan striker Deogratius Ojok who recently signed a contract extension with the club.
The Brewers missed out on last season’s Kenya Premier League title after finishing a point below the eventual champions Gor Mahia.
