Former Mbarara City striker Brian Aheebwa has been confirmed as the latest new signing for newly promoted Uganda premier league side Kitara FC.
Aheebwa who was released by KCCA FC during the current transfer window joined the Kasasiro Boys 3 years ago but he failed to replicate the form exhibited at Mbarara city.
The Royals earned promotion under the tutelage of Sam Ssimbwa but are now under former UPDF tactician Brian Senyondo.
Kitara have been one of the busiest sides in the primary transfer window after having signed Dennis Omedi, Jude Semugabi, Frank Tumwesigye, Ibrahim Magandaazi, Sabir Yassin, Samson Kasozi, Crispus Kusiima, Benjamin Nyakoojo and Hamim Ssemakula.
They also recently released close to 15 players and are rebuilding a side that will compete to maintain topflight status.
