Vipers SC and Mamelodi Sundowns build up game that was slated for Wednesday, 16tg August has been called off.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that the game that the game has been called off due to visa issues.
Sources reveal that the Venoms failed to secure visas for some of the traveling players in time.
The game was scheduled to take place at the University of Pretoria-TUKS Stadium at 3PM (4PM EAT).
Both Vipers and Sundowns are yet to release a statement on the matter.
Sundowns is the home for former Uganda Cranes captain Denis Onyango. The club has 15 Premier soccer League titles and one CAF Champions league title.
Meanwhile, Vipers are expected to travel to Botswana on Friday for their Preliminary round game against Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy.
Last season, Vipers prevailed to the Group stages of the competition after eliminating DR Congo’s TP Mazembe.
