Amaku to join Kitara FC

Stanbic Uganda Cup champions Kitara FC have completed the signing of Maroons FC striker Fred Amaku.

As earlier reported by this website, Amaku has joined the Hoima based side on a one year employment contract.

Fred Amaku agrees terms with another UPL

Amaku who was Maroons FC’s top scorer last season with 12 league goals joins his former captain David Ndihabwe who also sealed a move to Kitara.

He joined Maroons FC from Busoga United (Formerly Kirinya Jinja SS).

At Kitara, Amaku will boost their striking line that has Denis Omedi who scored 15 league goals last campaign and Jude Semugabi.

Kitara have also strengthened their defence with the acquisition of former Mbarara City FC and BUL FC defender Ronald Otti.

Kitara FC had a superb return to the Uganda Premier league as they finished fourth with 54 points and also clinched the Uganda Cup trophy beating NEC FC in the final.

The Brian Ssenyondo are preparing for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup and the league campaign.
