The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the Uganda Cranes fixtures for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

Uganda is in Group alongside Algeria, Guinea, Mozambique, Botswana and Somalia.

Uganda will begin their campaign with two away fixtures against Guinea and Somalia in November (13-21st) this year respectively.

In March next year, they will host Botswana and Algeria between 3rd to 11th with both games expected to be held at Mandela National stadium in Namboole.

The Cranes will travel to Mozambique before hosting Guinea with both games scheduled between June 17th to 25th in 2025.

In September (1st to 9th) 2025, Uganda will host Mozambique and Somalia respectively.

The Cranes will end their campaign with two away fixtures in October, 2025 against Botswana and Algeria respectively.

For starters, the winner of each group will prevail to the World Cup, while the four best group runners-up will participate in play-offs to determine which team will advance to the inter-confederation play-offs.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will see participation of teams increase from the current 32 to 48 which also consequently leads the increase in number of teams from CAF (Africa) from 5 to 9 or possibly 10 depending on the outcome of the intercontinental playoffs.
