Nara Promotionz has on Thursday, 31st August announced the upcoming inaugural edition of thehe “Sweet Science Season 1.”
The Boxing event will take place on September 30th, 2023 at the new Obligato in Kampala.
Shadir Musa Bwogi will begin his National title defense against Kenny Da Mexico while Musa Ntege will battle Kenya’s Benard Adie in the East and Central Title fight.
John Sserunjogi will also be in action against Kenya’s Denzel Onyango in the Super Middleweight fight.
Bwogi promised fireworks in the bid to retain his title
“Mexico maybe older than me but I am the master and I promise to teach him. I am the best in this game and he should expect fireworks on the fight night.”
Mexico also promised to teach Bwogi what they call professional boxing
“Bwogi is still an amateur boxer and so I am going to teach him how it is done in professional boxing. He is just a kid and he won’t make ten rounds, that’s alot for him.” Said Mexico
On the same day, former Bomber Nyanzi Joshua alias Spider will face Tanzania’s Abudallah Luanja.
Frank Kiwalabye will face Shomari Pendeza from Tanzania in the Super Bantamweight fight while Moses Mukiibi will lock horns with Nicholas Tomusange in the Lightweight fight.
Ssenyondo Rodgers will face off with Ben Kyalwazi in the Super welterweight fight while Sulaiman Busungu will take on Amos Kelly in the Welterweight fight.
