FUFA Big League side Police FC are in advanced stages of completing the signing of former Vipers forwards Pius Wangi and Duncan Ezekiel Sseninde.

Both players are free agents and will be seeking for a new challenge next season.

Wangi left Rwanda Premier League side Sunrise FC when his contract expired at the end of last season while Sseninde spent last season on the sidelines after leaving Police FC a year ago.

The two players were among the scorers as Police FC beat Police Corporate Team 5-1 in a friendly game.

Wangi has been a transfer target for a number of clubs including NEC FC, URA FC and Kitara FC while Sseninde was close to joining SC Villa but the transfer didn’t materialize.

Sseninde is not only a former Vipers winger but also previously featured for KJT Rwenshama and Wakiso Giants in the recent past.

Wangi sprung to the scene with Vipers in 2016 before joining SC Villa and eventually move to Rwanda’s Sunrise FC.

Police have been one of the busiest teams in this primary transfer window having signed 11 players in preparation for the new season.

Gabriel Eragu, Brian James Obedi, Edgar Tukahirwa, Isaac Ogwang, Ahmed Amayo, Raymond Onyai, Robert Otim, Ivan Eyam, Edward Kasibante, Steven Kabuye and Allan Bukenya are the players unveiled by Police so far.
