Gomba humbled Ssingo 3-1 in their first leg of the 2023 Masaza Cup Quarterfinal at Kabulasoke playgrounds on Sunday.

Allan Oyirwoth scored a brace with Kenneth Kimera adding the other for the record Masaza Cup winners.

Gerald Maido netted a consolation for two time competition winners Ssingo.

Ssingo will host Gomba in the second leg due next Sunday at the Mityana Ssaza Grounds in Mityana.

Bulemeezi and Buwekula shared spoils in a goalless stalemate at Kasana playground in Luweero.

On Saturday, Buddu edged Kyadondo 2-1 at Hormisdallen playgrounds in Gayaza.

Pius Ssebulime and Meddie Kasule scored for Buddu before Ramadan Mwanga found a consolation for Kyadondo.

With Buddu leading 2-1 in the 88th minute, Kyadondo players attacked the centre referee after cancelling what could have been their equaliser for the 2008 Champions.

Police intervened and used tear gas to disperse the hungry fans.

Meanwhile, Buddu will host Kyadondo at Masaka Recreation ground on Sunday in the second leg contest.

Still on Saturday, Buvuma and three time winners Mawokota played out to a goalless draw.
