NEC FC and Busoga United will be seeking back to back wins when they face off at Omondi Stadium in Lugogo on Friday.

This will be the first ever topflight meeting between the two sides.

NEC FC beat Mbarara City 1-0 on their debut in the topflight division last week and will be eager to keep momentum.

Under the stewardship of Hussein Mbalangu, this will be the first home game for the newly promoted side.

“We got our first win away from home and so we want to keep the momentum of winning. This is our first game at home and we want to give our fans another win because if you don’t win at home things become very difficult.”

Said Mbalangu

Busoga United on the other side beat Arua Hill 1-0 in their opening league game in Adjumani.

NEC will be without new signings Cromwell Rwothomio and Julius Magu.
