Buganda region chairman Kaweesa vows to champion women football

The Buganda Region Football Associations chairman Andrew Kaweesa has appreciated all the stakeholders in the region for always making it a success.

Kaweesa made the remarks after successfully concluding the 10th Buganda Region Football Associations General Assembly which was held at Kavumba Recreation grounds.

“I always appreciate all the football stakeholders within the region Buganda, usually the scores are high because of them and we are also grateful that a budget of over 210 million shillings for the 2023/24 season has been approved.”

“One of the key points to note is ensuring that we ensure all the four zones in Buganda play women football.”

He also called upon all stakeholders most especially the delegates and club representatives to always raise their concerns so that they can amicably be resolved,

“It is us together with the stakeholders to improve how things are done within the region, so I call upon all members raise their concerns so that they can amicably be solved the regional offices are always free and open to everyone.”

“I also encourage all football administrators to acquire knowledge let them study all the possible courses organised by both FUFA and the region.”

The General Assembly was attend by FUFA Executive members Sam Mpima and Rodgers Mulindwa who represented the FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo plus the FUFA CEO Edgar Watson among others.
