Kitara fight back from behind against Gaddafi to maintain 100% run

Kitara FC rallied from a goal down to defeat David Mutono’s Gaddafi FC 2-1 at the Gaddafi Arena in Jinja.

New signing Denis Omedi and super substitute George Ssenkaba’s second half goals handed Kitara FC their third consecutive victory of the season.

Omedi scored Kitara FC’s equalizer in the 58th minute before substitute Ssenkaba putting his side ahead in the 78th minute.

Ssenkaba had replaced Omedi in the 62nd minute of the game.

Thomas Ochungo’s header in the 34th minute only turned to be a consolation at the end of the final whistle.

Gaddafi FC is yet to register any victory this season and have lost all their three games against Vipers, URA and Kitara FC.

Victory takes Kitara FC on top of the table with nine points from three games, previously they defeated SC Villa and UPDF.

The Soldier Boys’ next game will be played on Thursday 19th October against Arua Hill SC in Adjumani.

Kitara FC will host KCCA FC on Friday 20th October in Masindi
