URA FC striker Shariph Kimbowa is ready to make his return against Maroons FC this Friday.
Kimbowa joined the Revenue collectors on a two year deal as a free agent following expiration of his contract at Wakiso Giants last season.
He sustained an injury during URA FC’s opening league game at UPDF FC last month.
“Kimbowa is back in full training after recovering from an hamstring injury. Welcome back Son.” URA FC confirmed Kimbowa’s return on their social media platforms
“I am happy to be back from injury. It has been tough times for me but good am up again. I want to help the club achieve It’s goals as well as mine. I know I haven’t yet scored but I am optimistic goals are going to come.” Said Kimbowa
Last season, Kimbowa managed to score 9 league goals for Wakiso Giants.
Kimbowa has also previously featured for Busoga United also in the Uganda Premier league.
URA FC have managed two wins and two draws in their opening four league games. They are currently 6th on the Uganda Premier league table with 8 points.
