Mbarara City registered their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Arua Hill on Wednesday at Kakyeka Stadium.
Henry Kitegenyi scored the only goal of the contest as the Ankole Lions maximized points.
Kitegenyi’s goal came in the 13th minute when he was perfectly fed by Joseph Akandwanaho to send the home faithfuls into delight.
Under the stewardship of Wasswa Bbosa, the Ankole Lions had drawn three and lost once in their opening four games.
Victory over Arua Hill sees them move to ninth place with six points in five games.
Arua Hill stay pointless this term after having lost all their five opening league fixtures.
