URA FC finally unveil David Obua as head coach

David Obua has been announced as the next URA FC head coach on a twelve months contract.

Obua who recently completed his UEFA A diploma replaces Fred Muhumuza who has been working under interim capacity.

Muhumuza has however been retained to work under Obua’s back room staff.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Obua as the New head coach of the club on a 1 year contract.”

A statement from the club read.

The former Cranes international will be assisted by Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri as first assistant coach, Fred Muhumuza (2nd Assistant Coach), Robert Mukasa (3rd Assistant Coach), Ilic Milos (Fitness Coach), Byron Okuba (Strength and conditioning Coach), Swaibu Ssebagala (Goalkeeping Coach), Joseph Lubega (Doctor), Isaac Ngondwe (Physio), Luggya Ronald (Kits Manager), Bosco Otim (Assistant Kits Manager)

Obua has had coaching stints with Maroons FC as assistant coach to George Nsimbe and also managed Lango Province in the 2022 FUFA Drum.
