The Uganda Premier league Secretariat has brought forward the game between Wakiso Giants and Express FC.
In the earlier development, the game had been rescheduled for Sunday 19th November at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso following the lifting of the suspension on games involving Express.
But in the latest development the game will be played on Friday, 17th November at the same venue.
Wakiso Giants requested the UPL secretariat to bring the game forward since Kabaka Kyabaggu had already been booked for another activity on Sunday.
“The UPL secretariat has received a letter from Wakiso Giants notifying us that at the venue for the said match Kabaka Kyabaggu was earlier booked for another activity and requested the match to be brought forward.” Said a letter from the UPL secretariat
The said fixture was postponed due to the imposed suspension of all games that involved Express FC following the incident that almost claimed the life of assistant Referee Fahad Sekayuba.
The fixture was earlier slated for Saturday, 11th November, 2023 before the suspension.
