Express FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they host Maroons FC at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on Friday.

The Red Eagles are still unbeaten this term but have not maximized points in two of their previous fixtures.

They played out to a 1-1 stalemate with UPDF FC before their goalless draw at Wakiso Giants after the FUFA had lifted a suspension on Express FC games.

Maroons on the other have had an inconsistent campaign and come into this game after suffering a 1-0 defeat to NEC FC.

Muhammad Senfuma coached side have however had a decent away record winning three out of the four games they have played on the road.

Team News

The hosts will be boosted by the return of their midfielder Ramzey Kawooya who missed the barren stalemate at Wakiso due to national team duties.

The visitors (Maroons) will be without Isma Kawawulo due to card accumulation but they welcome back Abraham Tusubira and Solomon Walusimbi who recovered from respective injuries.

Maroons captain David Ndihabwe also returns after serving his one match suspension.

Current table standings

Only a point separates the two sides with Express sitting in 5th position with 12 points while Maroons are 6th on 11 points.
