KCCA FC have expressed their desire to sign striker Isaac Wagoina from Express FC, Swift Sports reliably understands.
Swift Sports understands Kitara FC also had an interest in acquiring the in-form Express FC forward.
Wagoina is one of the best performers of the recently concluded first round having scored seven goals in the 15 games he has played for the Red Eagles.
KCCA are seeking to bolster their forward line having spent the first half of the season relying on Shaban Muhammad.
Shaban has been KCCA’s go-to man after the club lost Brazilian forward Michel Vinicius and Congolese Simon Kankonde shortly after the season kickoff.
Wagoina is a former of Busoga United and Regional League side Busei FC who joined Express at the start of the current campaign.
He has stood out as Express’ main source of goals.
KCCA is expected to be one of the busiest sides in this mid-season transfer window in a bid to achieve a more respectable finish following their poor start to the season.
