The organisers of the Fortebet Real Stars monthly awards have revealed the winners for the month of December.
Four sports disciplines were awarded on Tuesday morning at Lazio Restaurant in Kololo.
Rita Musamali won the Cricket gong following her excellent performances at ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier last month.
She beat her Victoria Pearls teammate Consolate Aweko and Cricket Cranes’ Henry Ssenyondo to the accolade.
In football, Maroons FC player Abraham Tusubira clinched the December gong overcoming Muhammad Shaban (KCCA FC) and Ivan Bogere(SC Villa).
John Sserunjogi who became the first Ugandan professional boxer to win the WBA Africa belt away from home was named as the best in Boxing.
Sserunjogi beat Guinea’s Ibo Maier to the Middleweight belt last month.
To win the Real Stars award, he overcame Isaac Masembe and Jjunju Power.
Jude Jjuuko walked away with the Rugby gong. He beat Alhaji Manano and Pius Mpoza to the Rugby accolade.
