NEC FC have completed the signing of Gadaffi Wahab on a two year contract, Swift Sports understands.

Wahab has been one of the most sought-after players in the transfer window having confirmed his departure from the Arua Hill towards the end of the first round.

He was transfer target for various clubs including BUL FC, Kitara FC and KCCA FC as well as Rwanda’s Mukura Victory Sports.

Wahab is one of the most outstanding creative players in the league and his signing brings more creativity into Arua Hill’s midfield.

He scored 11 goals and made 17 assists in the 65 games he played for Arua Hill in two and half seasons.

Last season, Wahab was named in the Best XI of the season and was nominated for the Best Midfielder of the Season Award.

As earlier reported, NEC FC have already signed goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan and versatile defender Ibrahim Kiyemba.
