Owek Ssalongo Robert Serwanga the Buganda Minister for Youth, Sports and Arts has confirmed 20th April 2024 as the kick off date for the Bika Byabaganda Football and Netball tournaments.
The confirmation was in the minister’s remarks as he launched the Sub County Competitions (Ggombolola Cup) at Uganda Clays grounds Kajjansi.
The day witnessed a game between Musaale Ssisa and Ssaabawaali Kasanje which ended in a one all draw.
“The Ggombolola Cup will climax on April 6th while the Bika Byabaganda Football and Netball tournaments will kick off on the 20th of the same month.”
“We expect players that will have featured in the Ggombolola Cup to play in the Bika Byabaganda Football tournament.” He added
Ngoonge after the defending champions of the Bika Byabaganda Football tournament.
They defeated Mbogo 2-0 at Wankulukuku courtesy of Ronald Ssekiganda and Richard Ssonko.
