Uganda Hippos Head Coach Morley Byekwaso has named a 23-man squad for the Dire Cup Invitation Tournament in Ethiopia.
The Uganda U-20 team is preparing for the forthcoming All Africa Games 2023 Tournament in Accra, Ghana.
The team has been training at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru for the last six days.
The Dire Cup, scheduled to take place between February 24th to 28th, 2024.
Byekwaso and his charges will travel to Ethiopia on Thursday morning (11AM) aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
Dire Dawa Cup will comprises of four nations which are hosts Ethiopia, Uganda, Djibouti and Kenya.
The Dire Cup will help Uganda prepare for the All Africa Games that are slated for March 7th to 22nd, 2024 in Accra, Ghana.
