KCCA FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they face off with NEC FC under the floodlights of Lugogo.

KCCA FC come into this contest back of a 1-0 loss to Kitara FC.

NEC FC return to action in the league after their 5-1 humbling of Acholi United in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 tie.

NEC FC will be targeting to move to third place with victory over KCCA FC on Wednesday.

Hussein Mbalangu’s side won the first round meeting 2-0 against KCCA FC.

This term, NEC FC have managed six wins at MTN Omondi while KCCA FC have won four. They are currently 4th on 31 points on the league table.

KCCA FC are currently 9th on the Uganda Premier league log with 23 points.

NEC will be boosted by the return of Rwothomio Cromwell who netted a brace in the reverse fixture against KCCA FC. He missed the game against Acholi United due to injury.

The game comes too early for Enock Ssebagala who resumed training following a concussion in the victory to Mbarara City.

Emmanuel Loki and Rogers Atube are in contention for KCCA FC while Mustafa Mujjuzi is out injured so as Goalkeeper Derrick Ochan.
