Seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC have lined up Bainomugisha Vialli and Baker Mbowa for the vacant head coaching role.
On Friday, 1st March, Alex Isabirye confirmed his resignation from his role.
In his resignation, Isabirye cited that he decided to part ways with the club due to issues with the club management that significantly impacted his job.
Isabirye replaced James Odoch who was relieved of his duties in December last year.
Vialli a CAF “B” licensed coach is one of the front runners for the job.
He has previously served at Lweza (now defunct), Water, Mbarara City, Kigezi HomeBoyz and Onduparaka FC.
Former KCCA FC and Ex Cranes international Mbowa is the other on the shortlist.
Mbowa has previously managed at Bright Stars, Proline FC and Masaka LC. He also served as head coach at Mawokota and Kabula in the Masaza Cup.
The Red Eagles when they face off with BUL FC in Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 tie on Sunday, 3rd March at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.
