Two follow Obua through exit door at URA FC

Two of David Obua’s assistants have left Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club along with the former Uganda Cranes international.

On Friday, URA FC confirmed Obua’s departure after five months into the job.

The former Uganda Cranes forward was appointed in November, last year on a one year employment contract.

His assistants Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri and fitness coach Kawa have also been shown the exit at URA FC.

Obua managed 20 games at URA, winning eight, losing as many and four draws.

The Revenue collectors will now be under the interim stewardship of Robert Mukasa before a permanent coach will be appointed.

He will be assisted by Ilic Milosh, Allan Owiny, Robert Ssentongo, and Goalkeeping Coach Swaibu Ssebagala.

Former Vipers SC and Express FC head coach Alex Isabirye Musongola and former SC Villa coach Petros Koukouras are among the names shortlisted for the vacant head coaching role.
