Stanbic Uganda Cup Semifinal Draw: Kitara pitted against Pajule Lions as BUL lands NEC

The Stanbic Uganda Cup semifinal draw has been conducted on Monday morning at FUFA Complex in Mengo.

Kitara FC will lock horns with Pajule Lions while NEC FC will battle BUL FC for a place in the final.

Kitara eliminated holders Vipers 5-4 on penalties after a two-all draw in normal time and extra time to reach first ever Stanbic Uganda Cup semifinal.

There opponents Pajule Lions beat fellow regional league side Pakwach Young Stars 1-0 in the Quarterfinal.

NEC prevailed 2-0 over last year’s runners up Police while BUL defeated KCCA 6-5 in post match spot kicks following a one-all draw after full-time and extra time.

BUL FC are the only previous winners left in the competition with their success coming in 2022 when they powered 3-1 past Vipers SC in the final.

The first legs of the semifinal of the 50th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will be played between 27th and 28th April.
