Youngster Travis Mutyaba is set for a debut with his new side Girondins Bordeaux in tonight’s encounter against Olympique Saumur at 7pm.
The Uganda Cranes offensive midfielder is part of Bordeaux’s 17-man match day squad.
Former Liverpool, New Castle and West Ham United English striker Andy Carroll is also part of the squad.
The anticipated match is expected to be streamed by Free Foot on YouTube.
Mutyaba recently signed a three year contract to officially join the six time French Ligue 1 champions.
Girondins Bordeaux suffered a double relegation to as low as the 4th tier of French football.
Upon his unveiling, Mutyaba vowed to write a chapter in Bordeaux’s special history books but also to help the club bounce back to the top of the French football.
Bordeaux are in search of their first league win having drawn thrice and lost once in their opening four games of the campaign.
