FUFA has confirmed that Mandela National Stadium Namboole will host two Uganda Premier League fixtures as test matches on May 1st.
The two are; BUL FC vs Vipers SC and KCCA FC vs SC Villa which will be played at 4pm and 7pm respectively.
The test games will serve as requirements by CAF before the greenlight to host international games is granted.
The entrance for the double header will be 10k (general) and 50k for the VIP.
This will be the first time Namboole hosts a game since its renovation that is billed at 97bn.
FUFA hope that the facility will be ready to host Uganda’s next FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Botswana and Algeria in June.
The Uganda Cranes last played at Namboole in November 2019 in the AFCON Qualifiers against Malawi.
