The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National Boys’ Football championship semi-finals fixtures have been confirmed.
Holders St. Mary’s Kitende who eliminated Blessed Sacrament Kimanya 2-0 at the quarterfinal stage have been pitted against Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) in the Semifinal.
JIPRA powered into the semis after eliminating Amus College 3-0 in the Quarterfinal.
Bukedea Comprehensive School who needed a 5-4 shootout win to overcome Kisozi Seed School after a goalless stalemate in normal time will lock horns with St Julian in the other Semifinal.
St.Julian under the stewardship of Felix Ssekabuuza cruised to the semis after ejecting hosts Masaka SS 3-2 on penalties. Both sides had played to a goalless draw in normal time.
The Semifinals will be played on Saturday, 4th May with the final scheduled for Sunday.
However, anything can happen due to the ongoing petition drama that has taken center stage during the knockout stages.
