KCCA FC are sweating over the future of Muhammad Shaban who will be out of contract in June.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Shaban has failed to commit his future to the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions. It is believed that Shaban’s representatives have asked for about 40,000USD to renew but KCCA are not willing to meet that amount.

The striker will be patient while assessing his options during the forthcoming transfer window.

He returned to KCCA FC in 2022 on a two year employment contract.

The former Vipers and Onduparaka striker remains a key player for KCCA FC coach Abdallah Mubiru.

He is currently the Uganda Premier league top scorer with 16 goals to his name this campaign.

Shaban came to the limelight in 2016 when he he helped Onduparaka FC attain topflight division promotion as well as reaching the final of Uganda Cup in the same year but lost to Vipers SC.

He then left Onduparaka for KCCA FC and scored 13 league goals in his first season at Lugogo.

In 2018, Shaban joined Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in a deal worth $130,000.

He only spent one year in Morocco and in 2019 he joined six time Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC on a two year deal before he rejoined Onduparaka.
