Police FC sealed promotion to the Uganda Premier league after a 2-1 comeback win Onduparaka FC on Sunday.

The Cops needed goals from Denis Kalanzi and Steven Kabuye to secure a return to the topflight after a season in the FUFA Big League.

Jaffar Kerepi had given Onduparaka an early lead before the hosts staged a comeback.

Kalanzi restored parity for Simon Peter Mugerwa coavhed side in the 43rd minute after being fed by Reagan Male.

Kabuye completed the comeback win for the Cops two minutes after the recess.

Victory takes Police to 50 points which means they cannot finish outside the top three positions in the Big League.

They stay top of the Big League standings three points above second placed Lugazi FC who thrashed Young Elephants 4-1 on Sunday.
